Getting Started
This guide walks you through the Tap experience from sign-up to your first campaign analysis.
User Journey Overview
The journey below shows the key steps a new user takes, from first landing on Tap to reviewing their campaign results.
Step 1: Sign Up
- Go to tap-peach.vercel.app
- Click Sign Up
- Enter your email and create a password
- You'll land on your Dashboard — empty for now
Step 2: Create a Campaign
- Click New Campaign on the dashboard
- The Mission Wizard opens — describe what you want to learn in your own words
- Example: "I want to understand how my team feels about our new remote work policy"
- The AI will:
- Extract your topic, audience, and success criteria
- Ask a clarifying question if needed
- Generate 3 unbiased question options
- Pick the question that best fits your goal
- Configure your campaign:
- Name — a label for your reference
- Audience type — internal (employees) or external (customers)
- Anonymous — whether participant names are visible to you
- Max follow-ups — how many AI follow-up questions (1-3 recommended)
Step 3: Upload Participants
- Prepare a CSV file with columns:
nameandemail - Upload it on the campaign configuration page
- Review the participant list

Step 4: Launch
- Click Launch Campaign
- Tap sends styled invitation emails to all participants
- Each participant gets a unique link — no login required on their end
Step 5: Monitor Responses
- Your campaign dashboard shows:
- Response progress — how many have responded
- Participant status — pending, invited, in progress, completed
- Conversation transcripts — click any participant to read their full conversation
Step 6: Analyze Results
Once you have enough responses:
- Click Complete Campaign (or let participants finish naturally)
- Click Analyze Responses
- Tap's AI generates:
- Sentiment breakdown — positive, neutral, negative percentages
- Key themes — up to 10 themes sorted by frequency
- Executive summary — findings, recommendations, and participation stats
- Conversation groups — responses clustered by topic
- Use Q&A to ask natural language questions about your data
- Example: "What are the top complaints?" or "How do remote workers feel compared to in-office?"
What Participants Experience
From the participant's perspective:
- They receive a professional email explaining the campaign purpose
- They click a link and see the opening question in a chat interface
- They type their response
- The AI asks 1-3 follow-up questions based on what they said
- The conversation ends naturally with a thank-you message
No account creation. No login. Takes 2-5 minutes.
